What does moving a website involve?

- Is moving a website the same as copying a design?
- No. Before publishing the new version, we list the useful pages, content, web addresses, redirects, forms, files, domains and outside services.
- Can places in search results be preserved?
- A careful list of pages, a destination for every changed address, direct redirects and checks after launch reduce the risk. Existing places cannot be guaranteed.
- What determines the price?
- The public starting price is €995. The final written proposal depends on the number of pages, quality of the content, redirects, files, forms and connections to other systems.

Choose a destination for every address
Keep useful web addresses where practical. Send each changed address directly to the closest useful page and update the links.
Test the public result
Check redirects, page responses, the page overview, forms, domain, mobile use and whether search engines may include the pages.
Some parts need a separate check before they can move.
An existing shop, customer area, booking system, account area or connection to another system needs a separate check. A screenshot or an embedded page is not a complete move.
You also need permission to use the content and files you supply. Missing access or usage rights must be resolved before VURM can move that material.

What to confirm before deciding.
Will the old website stay live during the work?
A controlled project keeps the existing public version available until the replacement has passed its agreed checks and the domain switch is scheduled.
Do you move email accounts?
Not as part of a normal website move. Moving email and mailboxes requires help from the company that provides the email and a separate agreement.
Can VURM move an online store?
Not into a standard VURM website. Products, payment, tax, shipping and order handling require a suitable shop system and a clear plan for connecting it.
